The Salomon Buttermere Skyline® was a classic mountain loop of the Buttermere fells, taking in the famous Wainwright summits of Red Pike, High Stile, Hay Stacks, Dale Head, and Robinson, linking technical trails and magical Lakeland views.
It was introduced in 2024, to fill in for Salomon Skyline Scotland taking a break for a year while it moved from its previous Kinlochleven home to a new venue at Nevis Range. The 2024 Salomon Buttermere Skyline was the final race of the Golden Trails National Series in the UK and the Netherlands, bringing athletes from far and wide to compete on this exhilarating course.
