We are looking to recruit a Tent Master to assist the business at our peak event delivery periods in August and September 2021.

Job Description
The Tent Master will be responsible for leading the Tent Crew to erect and dismantle the event marquees plus undertaking other tasks such as laying trackway and erecting signage. The Tent Master will need previous experience in erecting temporary structures at events and signing off temporary structures.
The event dates are outlined below however the specific onsite dates will be discussed at interview.

Location
The position will be based from our Kendal office whilst we are preparing to go onsite - plus working onsite at our four annual races.
Role and responsibilities - office
Managing the Tent Crew
Loading vehicles
Cleaning and drying marquees
Assisting with event operational tasks as required

Erecting temporary structures including matrix marquees
Undertaking other tasks such as laying trackway and erecting signage
Signing off temporary structures ready for when the rest of the event team arrive
Assisting with event operational tasks as required
Other details:
Mandatory qualifications: Full clean UK driving licence
Desirable experience/qualifications: Experienced and certified forklift operator
Position type: Fixed-term contract
Salary: £125 per day (freelance contract basis)
